The Cybertruck Solar Revolution Coming to The Truck World

The Cybertruck Solar Revolution Coming to The Truck World

With the price of gas rising, imagine owning a truck that could add 15 miles to your fully charged vehicle just by being out in the sun. Tesla’s new Cybertruck does just that with its innovative tonneau cover that improves your range through solar power technology.

The Cybertruck will beat the current average of 23 miles per gallon in gas pickup trucks, with an estimated mpg of 59-83 depending on variant. Cybertruck total range per charge will be 250-500 miles. With this innovative vehicles solar feature, drivers can expect to generate an additional 15 miles of range each day on top of the mileage they already get after charging their vehicle.

With this new technology that is speculated to be inexpensive, many truck drivers can expect to have their dream truck without breaking the bank at the pump any longer. Keep reading to see how soon you can get your hands on one of these solar-dependent, fuel-saving Cybertrucks and how it will benefit both you and the environment in the future!

The Truck of the Future

In a concept video released by Tesla, the deployable solar roof may be the biggest step forward to achieving a more efficient and cost-effective vehicle in history. There has been speculation in prior years that even with a solar roof, solar-powered vehicles were incapable of generating enough power to be worth the cost of production. Many of the vehicles designed in recent years did not generate more than 2 miles of increased range. That is, of course, until now.

Elon Musk is one of the first to break through into the vehicle of the future. The average distance a person drives is 30 miles per day. The amount of solar power generated by the Cybertruck daily is enough energy to get your average commuter to and from work without ever having to stop and recharge or fill up.

The Tonneau Cover and its Solar Power Efficiency

Tesla’s tonneau cover is covered entirely in solar electric cells and when closed, it can recharge both the battery pack while fueling your Cybertruck. If your vehicle is parked in the sun, these panels will be able to add 15 miles of range per day to your drive, which is a huge improvement from your average pickup already on the road.

The Cybertruck is Built to Perform Better Than Any Other Vehicle

The Cybertruck is built to perform better than a sports car, be more equipped than a truck, and is not to be messed with. Its exoskeleton was designed to withstand pretty much anything with an almost entirely impenetrable frame. They did this by employing a stainless-steel structural skin and Tesla armor glass.

With its design and functionality, the Cybertruck is also resistant to dents and corrosion. The windows and windshield were made to evade any sort of damage with its ultra-strong polymer-layered composition.

Because of its sturdy body and impenetrable exterior, passengers can feel even safer driving down the highway. The stainless-steel frame and ultra-strong glass are the best on the market and Tesla is more than confident putting their drivers in this vehicle for any drive they need to make. It can absorb the shock of deplorable road conditions and withstand more potential damage if you should encounter any, while most importantly, keeping its passengers safe.

There is Nothing it Cannot Do

Looks can be deceiving, and this gem may take some getting used to while driving with its sporty feel, especially for those used to their typical pickup truck. However, that is what this vehicle was made to do. The Cybertruck was designed to have the sports car feel but with even better utility than any truck out there.

The new Tesla model can haul up to 14,000 pounds with its 6.5-footbed. The tonneau cover behind the vehicle is strong enough for you to walk on and can even slide out to serve as a ramp for ease of loading. Also, the top model can take you and your family more than 500 miles before ever needing to stop and recharge.

The inside of the Cybertruck is a minimalist’s dream. It houses a 17-inch touchscreen that is completely customized for you, and that really is it. Musk wanted the inside of the vehicle to be spacious enough for its passengers to be able to sit back and relax.

Not to mention it has 100 cubic feet of storage space on its exterior that is perfect for traveling. The best part about all this extra space along with the truck bed? It will be easy to accessorize, even more so than a Jeep.

One last thing that cannot be forgotten is every model will be equipped with the self-driving autopilot feature that has long been talked about and put on the road by Tesla along with many other companies. Get ready to take a drive into the future because with its advanced cameras, ability to navigate the most congested environments, and so much more, the autopilot feature has been improved even more for you sit back and relax wherever you are headed.

Save Money and Find the Perfect Fit for You

You are probably thinking the vehicle of the future will break the bank, but the engineers behind the Cybertruck have made this technology affordable. The Cybertruck starts at $39,900, and although that may seem a little steep, the price falls beneath the average cost of any Tesla model and truck out there.

There will be three models to choose from, with the main difference being in the number of motors each has. Whether you choose one, two, or three electric motors for your vehicle, it does not matter. The Cybertruck will be equipped to go from 0-60 in a matter of seconds and reach a top speed of 120 mph.

The Cybertruck Will Save You Money and Protect the Environment

The amount of waste and toxins around us is a major threat to the environment. With this innovation available to consumers in 2022, the excess carbon dioxide produced from burning both gasoline and diesel will be mitigated. Both fossil fuels account for nearly 29% of the total greenhouse gas emissions, which are responsible for the rising temperatures of the Earth. With this technology, we can only expect to see a reduction of this exceedingly high pollution within a few years.

The Time to Get Your Cybertruck is NOW

It is time to invest in a vehicle that drives like a sports car and is more equipped than a truck. There is no better option to help with protecting the environment and saving your wallet from the rising costs of fuel. Even with some prior skepticism, being able to save on fuel and help the environment is enough to entice most of the population and the Cybertruck will leave you the most satisfied.

For all the pickup truck lovers out there that are hesitant about driving a vehicle with a sportier feel, there is more good news. Tesla is planning to release a pickup in 2022, too. Even though you may have to pay a little more up-front to get a Cybertruck, being able to use the sun to fuel your gas guzzler through the solar powered tonneau cover and your favorite electronics, it doesn’t get better than this and will make your wallet that much happier.
