Cybertruck or Model X – And the Winner Is…

Cybertruck or Model X

If you have narrowed down your choice of all-electric vehicle to the Tesla Cybertruck or the Model X, there are still a few things to consider. You want to know which vehicle is the clear winner for you. That means you will want to take into account the features you rely on the most and which one is going to suit your purposes the best.

Since the Model X is already on the road and has received such rave reviews, it is the clear winner of the Cybertruck at this time. It is a powerful all-electric SUV that seems to check all the boxes. It is a great family vehicle as well. However, the Cybertruck is also worthy of your consideration.

If you are looking for a comparison of the many features of the Tesla Model X and Cybertruck, you have come to the right place. Continue reading to learn how these two all-electric vehicles compare with one another and how you can ultimately decide which one should be parked in your garage at the end of the day.

Why Should You Consider the Cybertruck?

If you are for a vehicle that is truly one of a kind, then the Cybertruck is quite likely to catch your attention. This is a yet to be produced all-electric truck that Tesla unveiled to the world back in 2019. While it might not be a family vehicle in the purest sense of the definition, it still has plenty to offer that you might be interested in.

The Function and Performance of the Cybertruck

This is one unique vehicle. While you will get the benefits typically associated with a pickup truck in terms of cargo space and rugged performance, you will also get a vehicle that is a lot of fun to drive. Tesla has revealed that its performance can be equated to that of a sportscar. It even beat a Porsche in a quarter lap test drive. Now, that is impressive.

It Starts with the Exoskeleton

The exterior of the Cybertruck is one thing that sets it apart from the Model X. There is nothing else like it on the road today. So if you are looking for a truck that can withstand pretty much anything that you could possibly put it through, the Cybertruck will be something that you are interested in.

The entire exterior of the truck is built out of stainless steel. This is going to be the first vehicle since the early 1980s that can make that claim. Not only does that make it stand out from other trucks on the road, but the fact that the steel is cold-pressed 30 times in the factory means that it is virtually impenetrable.

The Cybertruck is built from the ground up to be durable and rugged. You can take a sledgehammer to it and not even notice a dent. The stainless steel is designed not to scratch, while the glass is bulletproof and built like an armored truck. If you are looking to drive a vehicle that may be the safest on the road, that may be what you are looking at with the Cybertruck.

Check Out Its Unique Design

If you are tired of the typical pickup truck, you will probably appreciate the design of the Cybertruck. It does not look like anything on the road today, and that begins with its angular design. It looks like something that you would study in geometry class. It is futuristic, and all indications are that the design works.

A Cargo Bay Replaces the Bed

Obviously, the Cybertruck will be able to carry many items that could never fit in the Model X. If that is important, then this will be the winner out of the two. In fact, the traditional truck bed has been replaced with what Tesla refers to as a cargo bay. This is indicative of the space age concept that designers of the vehicle were obviously going for.

The cargo bay comes with an impressive 100 cubic feet of storage space. The suspension even lowers on demand, and you can then pull the Tesla Cyberquad right in the back of the truck. There are lockable storage units in the back to help you organize just about anything that you could imagine. This leaves the interior available for you and your family to enjoy.

What Is So Special About the Tesla Model X?

While it might not have quite the cargo capacity of the Cybertruck, there is still plenty to love about the Model X. For many, it will be the more practical choice out of the two. This is an all-electric SUV that has already been on the market, and Tesla seems to have perfected the design to the point that the reviews have been almost all positive.

Get Plenty of Range and Power

If you want to drive the Model X out of town, you should have no problem doing so. Under normal operating conditions, you can expect to get about 340 miles out of a full battery charge. You will also get impressive performance out of the powertrain, being able to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 2.5 seconds.

If you need to tow items behind you, the range might decrease, but you will get a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. This is great from an all-electric SUV. While that does not compare with the 14,000 pound possible towing capacity on the Cybertruck, many people will find the Model X to be more than sufficient given their needs.

The Interior is Built for Comfort

This is going to be an area where the Model X will beat the Cybertruck, hands down. While the Cybertruck is not built for long family drives, the exact opposite is true of the Model X. Even the front seat passenger will benefit from increased legroom and dash space. The entertainment system built into the design is also state of the art.

The driver is going to love the steering wheel. It is fashioned after a pilot’s wheel, and there is nothing to shift or pull. Just focus on driving and reaching your destination. There is also a full-color 17-inch display to wow everyone inside, with another screen built into the rear console. Even the tri-zone air condition system is spectacular, blowing out filtered air the entire time.

The cabin itself is spacious. While the Cybertruck might seat six adults, the seats are not the most comfortable ever imagined. The Model X seats five with plenty of leg and headroom for everyone. You can even choose a 7-seat configuration for your Model X if you need additional space. This is something you cannot do with the Cybertruck.

The Electric Powertrain is State of the Art

While both the Cybertruck and Model X have an electric powertrain, we do not know much about the Cybertruck at this point. However, we know what the Model X has to offer.

The Model X makes use of the latest battery technology to sufficiently increase the range of the vehicle. In addition, it has thermal architecture built into the design that enables you to charge it much more quickly than other similarly positioned electric vehicles on the market today.

Wrap-Up

Now that you have more information about these two types of all-electric vehicles, it is time for you to make your choice. Take a look at the features and compare them with what you and your family look for the most in your vehicle. Whatever you decide, you are going to end up with a great vehicle that is also environmentally friendly.
